A great family resteraunt 10k from home, great service and great food. Pizzas, pasta, steaks. A good choice for a quick night out after a long day on the bikes!
This is a stunning restaurant if you are looking for Michelin quality Food. Not a great place for Fidgety kids (talking from experience :-) )
They even allow dogs!
This is a lovely restaurant siuaiton on the banks of l'etang Gabriere up in the lakes region.
They serve some great food including the local speciality of Smoked Trout which is definitely worth a try.
Its a 17 mile drive from the house.
A very typical french restaurant. We usually go here for Sunday Lunch. Its quite formal unless you sit outside, but that can get quite hot if in high season.
Superb quaity food and run but a lovely family.
This is our Local. Run my Anne Marie and her Family, head here for their Plat Du Jour. You can walk here from the house in approx 20 minutes - the route is pretty bike friendly as well (off road) .
The kids cycle down here in the morning to collect fresh Croissants and bread for breakfast.
Our family is well known here and Dianes paintings adorn the walls of the cafe.
Possibly the best Pizza I have ever had came from this restaurant.
Try to get a seat outside if the weather is nice and you will hev the most amazing views over the amazing ruins of the castle. It really is just stunning.
The service is good, but to be honest, when you are sitting here, you dont want anything to be rushed.
A superb restaurant to take the kids.
\they have an outside area upstairs, which looks up towards the towers of the castle ruins. Great shade, but a lovely place to sit and eat.
